Where are you located?

Rikkea Wainohu Makeup studio is located at Shop 7, 214 Mulgrave Road, Westcourt. The entrance to the studio is more accurately located on Creedy Street, closest to the Mulgrave Road. You are encouraged to search Creedy Street when using maps to travel to your in studio appointment. 

Do I need to pay a booking fee for my appointment?

All appointments require a 20% booking fee which is automatically deducted from the total amount of your appointment cost. Your booking fee can be made when  booking your appointment through the website booking system. Please see Booking terms for further information. 

Do you offer AfterPay?

Yes! Rikkea Wainohu Makeup offers AfterPay instore only for both bridal and non bridal bookings.  If you would like to pay the remainder of your bridal balance via AfterPay, please let me know so that we can arrange a time for this to happen. Bridal deposits can be made via bank transfer as per your invoice. 

How can I make an appointment?

Please follow the Get Timely links from the home page or alternatively, complete an enquiry form for all bridal bookings. Bridal bookings will be responded to via email. Rikkea can also be contacted via email rikkea.makeup@gmail.com. Please note that studio and event pricing is not the same as the bridal packages listed on this website.   

How long do appointments go for?

A singular makeup application appointment will last for 1 hour. If you book in for hair and makeup in studio then your appointment will last for 2 hours. 
This time schedule does not apply to bridal bookings. 

Do you offer makeup lessons?

Rikkea Wainohu Makeup offers 2 hour makeup lessons for non professional individuals wanting to learn an every day makeup application. Professional Makeup Artists who are seeking to upskill or learn a specific makeup application can book a detailed One Day Masterclass day. Please see Booking tab for more details. 

What products do you stock in your kit?

Luxury brands such as Dior, Georgio Armani, Charlotte Tilbury, Nars & YSL are all stocked within Rikkea Wainohu's makeup kit. Each product is carefully chosen and researched before purchasing to ensure Rikkea's clients experience a luxury service whether that be for either event or bridal.

How long have you been a Makeup Artist?

Bringing over a decade of expertise and artistry to the beauty realm, I received my qualification in 2007 from the esteemed Napoleon Perdis Makeup Academy. Since then, I have invested in further and ongoing education that allows me to hone my skills and craft my signature style, specialising in soft glam bridal and event makeup.

How long will my makeup application last?

At Rikkea Wainohu Makeup, I pride myself in stocking high end, quality and durable makeup. All skin prep is included within each application that will allow your makeup to last from early morning, well into the night. I hold great confidence in the durability of every makeup application and have taken the time to hand pick and educate myself on product ingredients and durability according to skin type. 

How do you keep your products sanitary?

Rikkea Wainohu's professional makeup kit includes 12 sets of individual brush sets that are clean, sanitised and available to use throughout a complete working day. No singular brush is used twice on a different client and is moved aside once the client has completed their appointment. All brushes are deep cleaned and sanitised at the end of a working day. All products are sanitised with a 70% alcohol solution between clients.
